Kevin R. Roberts is a freelance writer and photographer who is best known for his series of collectible art posters showcasing the landmark neighborhood bars and restaurants of New Orleans. He knows the city and appreciates her idiosyncrasies. Born in Hollygrove in 1953, he grew up in River Ridge, where he graduated from East Jefferson High School and LSU. After twenty years of relocations and buyouts in the consumer electronics industry (RCA, Philips, LG) he quit it all; and moved back to his beloved hometown.

Now, adapting to a changing marketplace, he has developed an new product line of impulse-priced commemorative prints designed to appeal to locals. This 20-piece collection of archival prints include many sentimental pre-Katrina images like "Hubig's Pies", "River Shack Tavern", and the "New Canal Lighthouse".

Kevin is also the man behind the "New Orleans Neighborhood Restaurant Guide". He was a totally new style of restaurant critic -- one who did not criticize. Instead, he profiled the Top 40 neighborhood restaurants that serve New Orleans food. Ultimately, the book became an underground success with four editions published. He was a regular guest on a state-sindicated radio show transmitted from Baton Rouge.
